Automotive Technician
The Automotive Service Technician is primarily responsible for repairing vehicles, to the customer's satisfaction, which answer
the concerns of the customer.
A desire to perform quality repairs, a strong sense of personal pride in workmanship, and an understanding that customer
satisfaction is our main concern, are all important aspects of the job.

Requirements of an Automotive Technician
- Must be in possession of all required Licences(Class A Licence to follow upon completion of apprenticeship program
Permits and Verifications as required by the laws of the Province of Ontario - inclusive of a valid Ontario Provincial Driving
Licence
- Must be able to communicate in English (read, write, speak) - fluently
- Must possess a thorough knowledge of technical repairs and procedures and provide own tools basic to this trade.
- Must be aware of and adhere to all Provincial Safety Standards concerning the performance and area of position
responsibility
- Must undertake any and all required training as requested by manufacturer or senior dealership management.
- Must be able to work effectively with other departmental staff
