Receptionist
The Receptionist is primarily responsible for vehicle maintenance of inventory, processing sales transactions, and insuring that
all D.C.S. data is correctly and accurately entered and withdrawn (received and distributed) into the D.C.S. computer.  

Vehicle maintenance of inventory includes stocking in newly purchased, or traded-in units, maintaining an accurate garage
register according to MTO regulations, stocking-out sold and delivered vehicles, creating vehicles dockets for the sales
department and accounting files for the accounting department.  

The stocking-in process includes registration of glass etching security warranty with St. Clair Marketing, as well as, insuring the
vehicle is entered into the service department for a PDI, and the creation of key tags and maintenance of the Key Logix system.   

This is a very key position in that the Receptionist will receive information regarding vehicle orders, manufacturer information
updates for dealers and general information regarding the company and the manufacturer which must be forwarded in a timely
manner to respective members of the management team.  

Further, the Receptionist must input information regarding sold or Dealer-Traded vehicles; warranty and extended warranty
information as directed by management, assist the Sales Manager(s)/ Business Manager(s) and the General Manager in
controlling and tracking inventory, vehicle licensing,  and  any other position or job related functions as directed by
management.

The Receptionist will post the sale of dealer trades, the sale of used wholesale vehicles, licensing transactions, and other
accounting functions related to sales transactions.
Requirements of a Receptionist
- Must read, write and speak English.
- Must be computer literate.
- Knowledge of, or learned basic understanding of D.C.S. Administration Procedure is a definite asset.
- Must be skilled in the area of telephone interaction for dealing with manufacturer personnel.
- Must be organized and detail-oriented.
- Must be able to work cooperatively with other dealership personnel in order that all D.C.S. data
- Must have a pleasant, outgoing, charming and professional demeanor - whether in person, by telephone or via the mails - so
as to best represent the company to our customers.
- Must demonstrate excellent punctuality and attendance.
- A demonstrated desire to put in the necessary and required time to ensure that each task is performed thoroughly and in
accordance with accepted standards.
- Must possess the recognition that customer needs and the quality of our satisfying these needs are of the foremost concern
to the successful operation of this business.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an unsupervised set of circumstances.
- Demonstrated ability to listen effectively and carryout instructions as directed.
- A willingness to engage in self-improvement courses.
