The Professional Sales Representative is responsible for new and/or used vehicle sales at volume levels set by sales management, and in a manner which ensures maximum, long term customer satisfaction and repeat business. This involves planning and implementing strategies for success, which are compatible with existing sales policies and systems. Self-improvement and co-operation with other dealership- personnel are important aspects of the Professional Sales Representative’s function. |
| - The Professional Sales Representative – PSR - will possess a valid licence to drive vehicles in the province of Ontario and shall obtain a licence to sell vehicles from OMVIC in the Province of Ontario - An excellent driving record and a demonstrated commitment to safe driving habits. - A demonstrated commitment to discovering and meeting customers’ needs while ensuring reasonable sales, as defined by sales management. - A demonstrated commitment to honesty, integrity and loyalty in all sales activities. - A demonstrated excellent punctuality and attendance record for all related activities, including meetings, promotions, etc. - Excellent grooming and appearance. - Demonstrated superb oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen effectively to, and work co-operatively with a variety of others, including customers, co-workers, and supervisors from a wide range of lifestyles, age groups, etc. - Demonstrated ability to initiate and follow through to completion all sales related activities and to function effectively under general supervision. - A demonstrated high level of energy, interest and enthusiasm in all sales related activities and willingness to treat each and every customer contact in a courteous, sincere manner and to maintain a high level of self-esteem, effort and professionalism at all times. - A demonstrated willingness to learn and improve sales skills and to share those skills with others. - A demonstrated ability to plan, organize and manage one’s own time and sales activities effectively, including prospecting activities and to assist others in doing the same. - A demonstrated ability to co-ordinate one’s own sales activities and needs with those of other personnel and departments. - Demonstrated excellent product knowledge and sales skills. |
