Service Advisor
The Service Advisor is the dealerships first-line customer relations and service sales representative.
Proper satisfaction of customer and vehicle related problems, meeting of pre-determined sales objectives, and the thorough and
accurate performance of designated administrative duties are all important aspects of the job.
The Service Advisor may be asked to assume some of the duties of the Service Manager from time to time and must become
familiar with the basic requirements of that position.
Requirements of a Service Advisor
- Must possess a valid Ontario Provincial Driving Licence with a clean and clear driving abstract
- Must read, write and speak English fluently - fluency in a second language is a definite asset
- A valid Provincial Technician Permit / Licence is a definite asset
- Must be prepared to take any and all updated training as required by senior dealership management and / or the
manufacturer, and always follow the Car Nation Canada Standards
- Must be prompt at all times where work requirements are concerned
- Must be willing to accept responsibility for decisions
